NOTE: Both the COED and MENS Weeknights league will be on the same night and same location but in different time slots. This will allow men who want to play BOTH to do so without conflict of game times. This means MORE ACTION and MORE CALORIE BURN! Play both MENS and COED!

FORMAT

MINIMUM of 6 players to avoid FORFEIT

ROSTER

MIN 14 - MAX 20 players (assuming min team amount has been paid)

ALL rosters must be approved by the league.

GAME DURATION

Two 20 min halves with a halftime break of 2 minutes (REGULAR SEASON)

SCHEDULE

6 regular season games + playoffs GUARANTEED if more than 4 teams! All teams usually have at least ONE if not TWO doubleheaders.

Single elimination playoff for ALL teams. The playoff structure will be announced after registration is closed and the schedule is released.

SEASON & GAME TIME RANGE

(TUESDAYS) 06/24/2025 - 08/26/2025 (but season can end much sooner along with playoffs based on rainouts)

(TIME RANGE) 7:15 pm - 10:45 pm ET (last game ending time approximation)

PROJECTED Game times - 715 pm, 815 pm, 915 pm

DIVISIONS

RFFL reserves the right to assign teams into separate divisions if needed for the sake of competitive balance.

REGISTRATION

Register as a team or as a free agent or as a small group. 

If you want to register as a team, please have your captain email us at rockvilleflagfootball@gmail.com ASAP and we will help create the team and make it easy for the players to register via captain invites.

If you want to register as a free agent, please choose that option and follow the steps.

If you want to register as a small group where you may need the league’s help to fill out the roster, please choose the free agent option but have your group leader choose and create a small group name. Please reference that group name when everyone registers as free agent so we can keep you all together!

Free agents CANNOT specifically ask to join an existing team.

Main Registration ends 06/24/2025. All players not paid by 06/23/2025 will be charged an additional $10 late fee (and/or removed from registration). Late registration will continue into the season. Just click the Register button in the top right corner to get started.

REGISTRATION FEES

Our fees make it very affordable to play. We are one of the LOWEST cost leagues in the DMV area!

We take care of the permits, referees, equipment, and website maintenance. All you have to do is reply to roll call, show up on game day on time with right color shirts and just play/have fun!

B) INDIVIDUAL PAY TEAM FEES (NON FREE AGENTS)

PAYMENT OPTIONS

In order to keep costs low and to help eliminate third party costs, we encourage you to use the following payment methods in order of preference to get the best price. You can use any of these options to make individual payments. For lump sum team payments, please only use Zelle and Venmo!

1. Zelle (no processing fee) - send payment to rockvilleflagfootball@gmail.com and please list your invoice number and name/email address in the note section so we can properly credit your invoice.

2. Venmo (no processing fee as long as you send as friends/family) - send payment to @playrasl and please list your invoice number and name/email address in the note section so we can properly credit your invoice.

3. Cash app (no processing fee - individual payments only) - send payment to $RFFL2025 and please list your invoice number and name/email address in the note section so we can properly credit your invoice.

4. Apple Pay (2.5% processing fee) - we have set up an Apple Pay/Cash account so you can pay via this option. Please email us at rockvilleflagfootball@gmail.com to get this information.

5. Credit Card Online (8% processing fee) - you can pay this through our website. The processing fee will be added to the payment.

WAIVERS

NOTE - Since reading the waiver is part of the registration process, all players who registered are assumed to have read our waiver and are automatically OPTED IN (so a signature is not necessary as the completion of registration serves as a player's affirmation to full agreement to all terms of our waiver) unless they notify RFFL via email that they want to OPT out of the waiver by the registration deadline date or the actual day of their registration (whichever comes later). RFFL reserves the right to not allow anyone who OPTS OUT of the waiver to participate in our leagues.

REFUND POLICY

RFFL only offers refunds when you cannot be placed on a team OR if a league does not fill up. We do not offer refunds for injuries, time missed or choosing not to play for whatever reason after the season has started.
